PostSubject: Survival Book   Survival Book EmptySun Aug 05, 2012 8:23 am

Hello everyone,

Just thought I might inform you all that a fantastic survival book is out at the moment at the book store in Westfield Marion. Its called the SAS Survival guide. I own the book myself and its excellent its contains information on hunting, making shelters, making weapons/tools, things you can and cant eat and many many more things.

Its around $30 which is a complete bargain for what it is (who knows it may save your life one day)

Hope that it shed some light on the great information out there available to us.

As always Stay Safe.

Thanks,

-James 'DedMan' Manuel

An interesting book that doesnt necessarily fit in as a survival book is 'Band of Brothers'. The popular HBO miniseries was based on this book, which chronicles the story of 'Easy Company' from the 506th in the 101st Airborne Div. It is an epic story which follows the unit all the way from training in the US to combat on D-Day and to the end of the war. It is definitely worth reading. I bought it for 10 bucks in a book shop which closed down but if you can find it i strongly recommend it.
