MRE's available at Aussie Disposals!

Gday Lads,

Aussie Disposals has MRE's for sale between $15 and $20. They are freeze dried meals and each pack serves two people. They include freeze dried meat and veg, deserts like apple pie are also available . Go have a look, its what I'm getting.

I wonder what it'll taste like? Probably shit but taste doesnt matter when shit hits the fan.

Actually they are meant to taste pretty good I spoke to the guys at the shop

I've done some research into mre's and the general opinion is that they are bearable, though some are better than others. The soldiers that live off of them don't often say wonderful things about them but casual campers say they aren't bad. Either way, everyone is different so I don't know what we will think of them

Yeah but when it gets down to it foods food and if your starving your not gonna care what it tastes like.

Well after doing some challenging hikes I can say with confidence that the food you eat can make the difference between having a negative and a positive experience. Also if we are out in the scrub then we will be living off of the land anyway
