Currency and Trading

Has anyone considered that money might be a problem, trading wont always work

What sort of situation are you thinking of?

trading wont always work, it will be to difficult in some situations and some people may rip others off
if you had a currency that you may be able to trade and be of some use if you meet any other survivours

it is also hard to make sure every one trades the same values, you might get more in one spot than the other

Yeah I agree that could be interesting, but I dont intend on needing to trade in a situation like what we're prepping for. I would aim to be self sufficient

we may need to trade medication for food in extreme circumstances
i agree on being self sufficient but you cannot make your own antibiotics and medication

Yeah true, perhaps food would trade well for medication. It might be good to collect a wide (ish) variety of medications beforehand if the shtf so we could other contacts and trouble.

I agree with both of you we will need to prepare for it beforehand with meds

totally im planning on buying a large supply of medication and gear ranging from bandaids, bandages, panadol, anti-radiation drugs and what ever i can legally buy.

And something we need to do is organize the raiding of chemists near us to get as much as we can from normal to perscription

In the event of a situation i mean haha

what you will need is just a first aid kit
paracetamol
ibuprofen
you WILL NOT be able to get any prescription drugs so its just anti bacteria's and toughing colds and flu out

Actually in the event of the situation you will be able to, they will become useful for trading.

That was never in my mind. You cant its just that simple but when the country is in chaos well get what you need
